Designer freehold homes are proving popular in Rainbow Bay where buyers are acting fast to secure a slice of luxury close to the beach

BUYERS hunting a little luxury by the beach has moved quickly to secure designer homes In Freedom Rainbow Bay.
The latest sales report records more than $19 million across 11 sales in the eight weeks since the project launched.
Queensland buyers have led the change for the luxury freehold homes – priced from $1.463million – followed by Interest from buyers in NSW.

Sherpa Property Group Managing Director Christie Leet said the project satisfied demand on the southern Gold Coast for freehold homes close to the beach.

“Rainbow Bay has to date been one of the most undersupplied house markets on the coast,” said Mr. Leet.

“We’ve been able to offer something different, and focusing on the owner-occupier market with liveability and lifestyle in mind had driven this response.”

“Freedom Beach Homes Rainbow Bay Includes 16 freestanding, individually titled homes just over 100m from the beach.”

The 3947 sqm site at 199 Boundary Street, Coolangatta overlooks a large park on the banks of the Tweed River and Jack
Evans Boat Harbour.

Rainbow Bay and Greenmount beaches are close by as are the Coolangatta dining and shopping precinct and Gold Coast airport. Site demolition is due to kick-off at the beginning of October 2021 and the first homes are expected to be ready for settlement in mid-2021. The sales success at Rainbow Bay follows on from Sherpa Property Group selling three of the four beachfront homes at The GoldenFour project at Bilinga, where construction will start In late August.

Sherpa Property Group has also recently acquired two new sites on the southern Gold Coast – 488 The Esplanade, Palm Beach, for more than $11 million and 202 Pacific Parade, Bilinga

The Palm Beach site is expected to be developed as three beachfront homes and nine,one-per-apartments. The Bilinga site will be developed as five spacious, one-per-floor apartments,. The new projects expand Sherpa’s portfolio to six projects spread from Palm Beach to Cabarita on the Tweed Coast.
