A SITE just metres from one of the world’s best beaches is set to become home to a new luxury tower with just a handful of units and priceless views.
The 506 sqm Pacific Pde site at Bilinga will be redeveloped to make way for Solara, a seven-level tower which will have just five units.
The plans, put forward by developer 202 Pacific Pde, show the tower would have four three-bedroom units and a single four-bedroom penthouse which would take out the building’s top two levels.
The land is currently occupied by a single wooden house which would be demolished to make way for the tower. The surrounding blocks are home to multi-storey unit buildings and it is a short distance from the Gold Coast Airport.
It is just the latest in a series of developments planned for the southern Gold Coast suburb in recent months.
The neighbouring Southern Cross University has teamed up with developer GCIST to build a 12-storey student accommodation tower on Bilinga’s Golden Four Dve which will become student accommodation.
