A beachfront development at Bilinga on the southern Gold Coast has sold all five residences, worth a total of $12 million, prior to being launched as demand for luxury homes on the Gold Coast soars.

The Perspective 202 Bilinga project by Sherpa Property Group includes four full-floor residences and a double-story penthouse.

The project is just a few steps from Bilinga beach on a 506 sqm site acquired by Sherpa earlier this year for $2.5 million. The owner of the site, Ken Gibson, has acquired one of the residences at Perspective 202 Bilinga, maintaining his family’s link to the site that goes back to the 1940s.

Sherpa has also sold the last home at it’s The Golden Four project (four beachfront homes), at 237 Golden Four Drive as well as the last home at Freedom Rainbow Bay project at Rainbow Bay.

Sherpa Managing Director Christie Leet said the five residences were sold to a mix of local and interstate buyers with prices ranging from $2.1 million to $3.25 million.

“We were pleasantly surprised by the demand with most buyers hearing about the project through word of mouth and wanting to purchase before the project was even officially launched to the market,” he said.

“It is very rare to have a project, particularly higher end property, that requires little or no marketing to sell out,” he said.

“We did a lot of work ensuring the product was perfect for a certain segment of the market, and they were exactly he people who purchased.”

The Perspective 202 Bilinga project is a perfect blend of luxurious design and understated elegance. Each single-level residence comes with expansive ocean views and its own double lock up garage.

The project was designed by HAL Architects with construction due to commence this month before final completion in in late 2021.

The sell-out of the project follows the launch of the $37 million Perspective 488 Palm Beach project at Palm Beach and the second project under Sherpa’s Perspective brand.

Mr Leet said the Perspective brand would be utilised for all of Sherpa’s future multi-level projects and was created to reflect the company’s desire to provide a new perspective on beachfront living.

“Perspective is all about the laidback Gold Coast lifestyle combined with exquisite, liveable luxury.”

Mr Leet

“It is a combination that is hard to get right, but together with our architects and designers we think we have set a new benchmark for Australian beachfront living.”

The Perspective 488 Palm Beach project comprises 11 limited-edition beachfront homes including three absolute beachfront homes, one beach villa and seven full-floor residences with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and Palm Beach.

The properties are priced from $2.8 million to $4.5 million and have already generated significant pre-launch interest.

The project was designed by HAL Architects and is currently before Council to modify an existing approval on the site for 32 apartments. Construction is due to commence towards the end of the first quarter of 2021 with completion in 2022.

Sherpa has developed the Perspective brand to utilise across all of its multi-dwelling projects. The company uses the Freedom brand for all projects which are developed with individually titled properties.

Sherpa also recently completed the sale of four beachfront homes at The Golden Four project at Bilinga as well as 17 homesites worth $11 million at its Freedom Cabarita project at Cabarita. The company is also currently settling all sales at its Scenic Ridge project at Bilambil Heights near Tweed Heads.

Construction at Sherpa’s $30 million sold-out Freedom Rainbow Project at Rainbow Bay commenced this month following demolition of the old hotel that occupied the site.
