Sherpa Ditch the Golden Shovels, Instead Donate to Local Charity Marking Nexus Start

Sherpa Property Group has officially begun construction of its highly anticipated Perspective Nexus development at Palm Beach in a move that will benefit local community group Fight 4 Youth.

Sherpa Property Group founder Christie Leet, who draws inspiration from his experience with Himalayan sherpas and their commitment to helping others, is marking the auspicious occasion with a $2,500 donation to the youth centre.

“With construction officially under way, and in a true Sherpa team tradition to mark the occasion, we are proud to support Fight 4 Youth, a community group that is doing amazing work for young people in the local area,” said Mr Leet.

“Fight 4 Youth is a community organisation that seeks to positively shape the future of young people through guidance, mentorship and activities programs and we are thrilled to lend our support to the hardworking team behind this incredibly important community group.

“Most of our buyers to date are Gold Coast locals, so it’s only fitting that we mark the official start of construction by supporting a worthy local community organisation such as Fight for Youth.

“Our mission now is to deliver this amazing new project for our buyers and have them ready to move in by the end of next year.”

Fight 4 Youth’s mission statement is to empower youth, strengthen relationships and inspire respect for themselves and others.

“The Fight 4 Youth family are so grateful to have received such a generous donation from Christie and the Sherpa Property Group team,” says Fight 4 Youth Founder and Director, Leisa Logan.

“The funds will go a long way to helping us to continue to positively shape the future of young people in our community".

Fight 4 Youth is an inclusive, multicultural youth centre, that supports a diverse range of youth and offers therapeutic-based programs through physical activities for people of all abilities. They aim to build confidence, self-awareness and acceptance through sport, music, art, leadership, mentoring, empowerment and crime-prevention programs.

Fight 4 Youth also offer a range of programs and activities for adults too, including boxing, personal training, group fitness, dancing, yoga, and more.

After last month announcing the appointment of LPS Group as project builder Perspective Nexus, Sherpa Property Group has today officially started construction of the luxury apartment development.

Located on a prime 1,583sqm site at 949-953 Gold Coast Highway, the nine-storey project will deliver an exclusive collection of 32 spacious apartments, including two half-floor penthouses and three sky homes with their own private rooftops.

The construction start comes on the heels of Perspective Nexus achieving sales of over 50 per cent of apartments worth a total of $65 million.

Perspective Nexus residents will share in a wide range of luxurious communal amenities, including a dedicated wellness space with features such as a cold plunge pool, sauna, magnesium pool and steam room with internal stairs down to the residents’ recreational space which includes a spa, pool, private dining and wellness garden.

The project will also boast 79 car parks for both residents and visitors, electric car charging stations, individual apartment storage, car wash bay, parcel delivery storage, including cold store and more.

Perspective Nexus is the latest in a host of impressive projects undertaken by Sherpa Property Group on the Gold Coast since 2018 and comes on the heels of the success of the recently completed Perspective on Albatross.
