The New Home adVantage

A Gold Coast developer is set to breathe new life into an underutilised tennis court in the heart of the Gold Coast after launching an architecturally designed multi-residential development to the market.

The early launch of ‘Freedom Vantage’ – which is the 12th Gold Coast development undertaken by Sherpa Property Group in the past six years – follows positive feedback from Council.

The development, located on a 915m2 site at 45 Labrador Street and built by Yellowfin, will deliver three stunning freehold homes, a rare find in today's market where new free hold houses only account for 22.9% of all approved stock on the Gold Coast – according to the latest CoreLogic data.

Founder of Sherpa Property Group, Christie Leet, says ‘Freedom Vantage’ – a development inspired by the success of Freedom Rainbow Bay – is part of Sherpa’s commitment to contributing to housing supply and diversity in an undersupplied market.

“We are excited to be officially launching Freedom Vantage to the market, these are the closest collection of new homes to the water on the Gold Coast,” said Mr Leet.

“As a developer, I see immense potential in small-lot homes as they provide a sustainable solution to housing demand while preserving the character of our communities.

“We believe the future of housing lies in thoughtful, compact designs that maximize space on small lots and minimise environmental impact. That's exactly what we're aiming to achieve with Freedom Vantage, driven by our Less is More ethos.

“Interestingly, recent statistics show that detached dwelling approvals are expected to decline over time reducing to 10% of all Gold Coast approvals, making ‘Freedom Vantage’ a rare gem in today's market,” he said.

Plans for the Freedom Vantage collection include three freehold homes comprising three and four bedrooms across two storeys, each with premium finishes, their own private pools.

Freedom Vantage provides residents with a low-maintenance, lock-and-leave lifestyle to suit the owner-occupier, appealing to both downsizers and upsizers.

Prices for luxury house and land packages at Freedom Vantage start from $1.585 million.

“At the Broadwater, every day brings a new adventure – you could be spotting dugongs, dolphins, and black swans on your morning walk to a local coffee shop, taking a quick stroll to the bustling boat ramp for a day of boating or jet skiing, or experiencing the thrill of parasailing, kitesurfing, kayaking and hydro foiling,” said Mr Leet.

"Our aim is to craft residences that not only cater to the requirements of homeowners but also enrich the local surroundings."

These homes represent a blend of innovative design and practicality, offering residents a unique lifestyle in the heart of the Gold Coast.

Sherpa Property Group is one of the Gold Coast’s most active developers, having completed 10 successful boutique developments on the Gold Coast over the past six years, the most recent being Perspective Broadwater at nearby Biggera Waters and Perspective on Albatross at Mermaid Beach.

Freedom Vantage is among three projects the company currently has in the planning stage following a spate of site acquisitions.

“We are constantly looking for great new development opportunities which may include different product types, or locations, including the Brisbane market,” said Mr Leet.

Freedom Vantage is now selling from $1,585,000 - call 1300 327 299 to find out more.
